A MAN died after his motorbike was in collision with a car in West Oxfordshire on Saturday afternoon.
The 58-year-old was airlifted to hospital after the crash involving a Nissan X-Trail 4x4 on the A4095 Station Road near Bampton at around 3.30pm.
Police officers said he was from the Bampton area but has yet to be formally identified.
The man was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, in a “serious” condition with multiple injuries but died later that day.
Officers closed the road while they investigated and cleared up around 15 litres of petrol with the fire service.
Paramedics were also called and a man and a woman in the Nissan suffered minor injuries. The woman was taken to Witney Community Hospital with an arm injury.
