THE latest winner of the Oxford Mail Loyalty Card prize draw will spend her £200 prize on an operation to get her dancing again.
Aerobics instructor Jane Green, from Sandhills, Headington, recently ended up in A and E after going a stretch to far at a class.
She badly injured her knee, but her little windfall from the Oxford Mail will help put her back on the dance floor.
Mrs Green said: “I was totally surprised when I won.
“I check it week after week and my husband takes the mickey out of me, but on Saturday I said you can laugh all you like, we’ve won £200.
“I urge people to check their numbers every week, you’ve got to be in it to win it.”
She added: “It’s amazing what you find when you read the paper.”
A life-long resident of Oxford, Mrs Green is married to local businessman Brian Green of Brian’s Carpets, and mother to Oxford Stars hockey player Alan and aerobics instructor Alison.
