ABSTRACT shapes, carvings and bronze statues were dotted around a Bicester studio as it opened its doors for the only time this year.
About 20 members of Bicester Sculpture Group exhibited their work at the George Muller Studio, at the Old Vicarage, Church Street, between May 18 and 24.
Wood carvings, a bronze owl, abstract shapes and a set of three sheep were on display.
Artists were also giving demonstrations.
Mick Waterhouse, from the group, said members had been exhibiting in Artweeks for about 15 years.
He said: “There will always be artists here, so they can talk people through the work and how it was made.
“We are all semi-professional and professional and all do our own things, but as a group this is the only chance a year to see our work together.”
The group was set up by the late George Muller in 1986.
