ARTISTS across the county are cleaning their brushes after displaying their artwork as part of the 32nd Artweeks festival.

Launched on May 4 in Oxford, the event has seen more than 500 exhibitions with painters, sculptors and many more opening their doors to the public.

In the last week of the event, which finished on Monday, people across the north of the county – which stretches to Burford and Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, to Bicester and Banbury – were showing off their work to visitors.

SAMANTHA McGREGOR caught up with a few of the artists to find out how it went.
