A woman was cut free after a four-car crash on the A34 near Weston-on-the-Green.
Paramedics, police and firefighters were called after the smash at about 12.30pm yesterday.
The southbound carriageway was partially blocked for several hours after the collision, which happened between the junction with the M40 at Bicester and the turn-off for the B430.
There was also congestion on the A34 and the M40.
The woman’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
