A fire at Raymond Blanc’s flagship restaurant Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons did not affect guests, bosses said.
Firefighters were called to the two Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel in Church Road at 12.54am yesterday.
Crews reported a small fire in a tumble drier in a ground-floor laundry room.
The hotel’s management tweeted: “Yes we had a fire in our laundry last night. Separate building to all accommodation. No injuries.
“All dealt with brilliantly by hotel team and Oxfordshire Fire Brigade. Most guests never even knew.”
