A DISCOUNT store had a visit from a children’s television presenter as part of a fun day to raise money for the charity Cancer Research UK.
Staff at Family Bargains in Limborough Road, Wantage, donned a range of silly costumes and took part in a gardening game hosted by Ian Gee from CITV’s Dream Street Live on Saturday .
Mr Gee ran a gardening-themed game where customers competed for store vouchers.
There was also balloon modelling and a prize draw with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
Warehouse assistant Mr Winder, from Faringdon, said: “There were games and loads of stuff for the kids, and we gave out vouchers and had a barbecue. It was good fun, better than working."
