HIGH winds caused fallen power lines to block a road near Kidlington on Thursday.
Southern Electric were called to Oxford Road, Hampton Poyle, at about 8pm.
Branches from nearby trees had also blown into the road creating a hazard for drivers.
Police attended to help make the area safe and the road was reopened at about 10.30pm.
