Community figures are putting on their dancing shoes for the launch of Strictly Oxford today.
The event is inspired by TV show Strictly Come Dancing and pairs key figures across the county with semi-professional dancers.
It fundraises for Vale House dementia care home in Sandford-on-Thames.
The 32 well-known Oxford figureheads and dancers will be announced at Step by Step dance school in Headington later.
Among them is managing director for Newsquest Oxfordshire and Wiltshire – which sponsors the event – Shamus Donald.
Mr Donald said: “I’ve never really learnt to dance. This is a wonderful opportunity.”
