IT MIGHT not be the Tate or the National Gallery but this Oxfordshire vineyard is set to host a large exhibition of sculptures.
As part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, Bothy Vineyard in Frilford Heath has become home to about 200 sculptures by some 30 artists from all over the county. Sculptor Lendon Scantlebury, 52, from Wantage, is curating the outdoor exhibition.
Mr Scantlebury said: “There are sculptures in a range of materials varying from bronze, stone, wood and marble.
“It has taken eight months in the planning. This is the very first exhibition they have held it at Bothy Vineyard. Artweeks is a terrific platform for local artists to showcase work.”
The exhibition runs from Saturday until Sunday, May 19.
