WHAT a lovely man Sir Ben Kingsley is. The Oscar-winning actor and Oxfordshire resident was so touched by the story of nine-year-old meningitis sufferer Daisy Pashley he organised a screening of his latest movie, Iron Man III, for her benefit in Witney.
With the great man himself in attendance and proceeds going to help by prosethetic legs, it was a night Daisy and her family will never forget.
We’re proud to have you as a neighbour Sir Ben.
