THERE is a lot in the media about rape and other sexual offenders.
The female victims are not named, so surely it’s only fair for the suspect to be treated the same until convicted.
It used to be innocent until proved guilty but now it seems it’s trial by media.
I support a free press but let’s play fair. You often see “ex-cop’s relation” and the like but never “ex-news editor’s relation arrested”.
Rape is easy to allege, hard to prove and harder to disprove.
