Trading standards are warning people to be on the lookout for fake Wonka chocolate bars containing bogus golden tickets, like those in Roald Dahl’s Charlie and Chocolate Factory, after one was sold in an Oxford shop.
Terri Bonham, an Oxfordshire County Council trading standards officer, said Nestlé owned the Wonka trademark and added: “This bar was not a Nestlé product.”
