WEST Oxford is losing another amenity.
A few years ago, the Chinese takeaway was sold and the building reverted to a house. Then the doctors’ surgery went from West Oxford Community Centre.
The Osney Arms pub has been closed and now the excellent Indian takeaway, Bengal Tandoori is closing down. Their rent is being raised by Oxford City Council to a level that they say makes it impossible to stay.
Do no councillors have an overview of what impact their actions are having on the local area?
