FAMILIES a got a once-in-a-year opportunity to walk amongst rare and beautiful flowers in West Oxfordshire.
Fritillary Sunday took place at St Bartholomew’s Church in Ducklington over the weekend and attracted about 1,400 people.
The event, which saw Ducklington Morris perform, has taken place since the 1980s and was originally due to take place in April, but was postponed due to the cold weather.
St Bartholomew’s Church warden Edmund Strainge, pictured above, said: “It went very well. We put it off because spring was late but I think we picked the right weekend, both in terms of the colours being at their best and the weather being perfect.”
