OXFORD
Carmen Hutchinson, 33, of Union Street, Cowley, Oxford, convicted of stealing a purse containing £40 and a mobile phone in Upper Barr, Oxford, on May 25. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on August 31 for criminal damage. Community order made with three-month curfew requirement and told to pay £325 compensation and £50 costs.
Bernard Day, 41, of no fixed address, admitted persistently begging in a public place in Carfax in Oxford on April 6. Fined £50 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
Benny Sutton, 25, of Blacknall Road, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with a direction given by a police officer in High Street, Abingdon, on April 6. Also admitted committing further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on December 18, 2011, for assault. Fined £50 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Adam Doyle, 26, of Ladder Hill, Wheatley, admitted assault by beating on April 2 in Gloucester Green, Oxford. Fined £100 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
John Ochola, 31, of Bulan Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted destroying a Blackberry mobile phone worth £200 in The Hyde, Abingdon, on December 20. Fined £35 and told to pay £200 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge.
Sean Keaney, 22, of Outram Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxford on April 21. Fined £100 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
