The 42-year-old scrambled up a drainpipe to save the two-year-old until fire crews arrived.
His bravery secured the child’s safety and helped put his mother – who herself got trapped trying to rescue him – more at ease when confronted with every parents’ worst nightmare. He deserves a medal.
