A top London designer brought his spring and summer collections to an Oxfordshire stately home yesterday for a charity fashion show.
The event at Ditchley Park, Enstone, featured designer Daniel Blake in association with Women for Women International, a charity patronised by Lady Penny Holmes. The show took place in the intimate setting of the White Drawing Room and about 60 guests attended.
Mr Blake, 40, said: “As a British brand which is all made in London we very much like the idea of working exclusively with our clients.”
He referred to the event as a ‘pop-up boutique’ where guests could try on the clothes themselves.
Ten per cent of the total proceeds, which include clothes sales as well as tickets, will go to Women for Women International. The final total is still being counted.
