STAFF and pupils at The Slade Nursery School and Day Nursery are celebrating after being rated outstanding by Ofsted.
The nursery, in Wood Farm in Oxford, was praised for its “exceptionally warm, caring and safe environment where children achieve extremely well” following an inspection by the watchdog.
Headteacher Sue Vermes said: “We are pleased and proud to have had this outstanding outcome.
“It means a lot for the Wood Farm community for whom we all work.
“Part of the outcome relies on our knowing that we need to continue to work hard to get even better.”
The report also said how staff provide pupils with “enriching experiences that develop all areas of learning and plan exciting challenging experiences that reflect the children’s interests extremely well”.
