Simon Sellars has won a by-election for North Hinksey Parish Council.
The 32-year-old Botley solicitor polled 308 votes to Linda Losito’s 180 at last Thursday’s poll.
The vote was held after Briony Newport resigned in November, partly because of a council row over calls for a new skate park for Botley, which she supported.
Mr Sellars said: “I look forward to working with the rest of the council to hopefully get a lot of positive things done for the people of North Hinksey.”
