IN response to Cllr John Tanner (ViewPoints, February 7), he conveniently seems to have forgotten that it was 13 years of Labour financial failure that got this county into the mess it’s in.
Remember that it was the Labour Finance Minister, Liam Byrne, who wrote ‘there’s no money left’. Obviously he appreciates the fact that David Cameron is a forward-thinking Prime Minister who does not need to whip his MPs, unlike Ed Miliband who tried and failed.
Perhaps Cllr Tanner would like to join me in an open, transparent party, where free speech and thoughts are welcome.
