I WOULD like to congratulate Cllr John Tanner in highlighting a very concerning problem of pavement obstructing, (ViewPoints, February 15). I am a scooter user. Car parking, bins and workmen working on pavements are all a problem for me.
The worst is pavements that are at a high level, which means you have to go out of your way to find a slope to exit the pavement. I have on a few occasions ended up with a nail or glass in one of my tyres, which costs £90 each time to fix.
So I ask, could the fine people of Oxford please be more considerate? I wholeheartedly support Cllr Tanner’s advice.
