A DIDCOT grandmother raised £3,640 for nurses who cared for her grandson.
The 54-year-old former teacher offered shoppers at Oxford’s Westgate Shopping Centre a gift-wrapping service in the build up to Christmas.
Margaret McLuckie lost her grandson Rowan, at the Children’s Critical Care Unit at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
He suffered from a heart condition and died on December 14, 2010, aged six months. Mrs McLuckie was supported by members of the Oxford congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Church members volunteered 350 hours to the cause.
