TRAIN services between Oxford and Banbury will be affected until at least 2am, Frirst Great Western has said tonight.
The line is currently closed because of the fatal crash between a car and a freight train at the Sandy Lane level crossing between Yarnton and Kidlington this afternoon. One man died and another person injured.
Buses are currently replacing train services between Banbury and Oxford, with First Great Western estimating services not returning to normality until 2am Thursday.
Sandy Lane also remains closed tonight.
Updates will be posted on our Live Traffic Service.
