POLICE today appealed for witnesses after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Cowley Road, Littlemore.
The girl was at a bus stop at the junction with St Nicholas Road, in Littlemore, at about 8.40am yesterday.
A man approached her and grabbed her by the shoulders and sexually assaulted her. The girl struggled free and ran away.
PC Tim Harding said: "The girl was not injured but was left shaken by the attack.
"The man was very distinctively dressed in a black tracksuit and black balaclava covering his face. He had tanned hands. Other people must have seen him.
"If you saw what happened or have any information that would help our inquiry then please contact me immediately."
