Flooding has blocked a Long Hanborough road this morning.
Floodwater from overnight rain has covered Lower Road near Long Hanborough around the A4095 Main Road.
The road is reported to be impassable.
Rainovernight has meant traffic is slow on other roads in the county.
Standing surface water has caused queuing traffic on Woodstock Road southbound in Begbroke at the Spring Hill Road junction.
Spokesman for the Environment Agency Hayley Willoughby said there are eight flood alerts for rivers in Oxford and Oxfordshire and no flood warnings.
The following rivers are currently on alert:
- Sor Brook and the Bloxham Brook
- River Windrush
- River Evenlode
- River Thame
- River Cole
- River Cherwell
- Langford and Wendlbury Brook
- Ginge Brook
- Blanfield Brook
