YOUNGSTERS were treated to a free pantomime at an Oxford community centre.
The Northway Community Centre hires a theatre company to put on a panto classic every Christmas to help cash-strapped parents.
About 60 children aged two to 14 enjoyed Kent-based SGProductions version of Cinderella at the Dora Carr Close centre on Saturday.
Centre chairman Carl Hibbins said: “It was fantastic. We are giving something back to the community.”
Gouldland Gardens resident Michelle Francis, 33, took daughters Trinity, two and Georgia, six.
She said: “We had a lovely time. This is the only one we will see this year. I can’t afford to go anywhere else.”
Adults paid £1 to see the panto, while children went for free.
