A BRIDGE crossing a brook in Thame will be replaced following a £5,000 grant from the Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment.
The grant application was made by Thame Town Council for the Cuttle Brook nature reserve.
Volunteers have designed the new structure to replace the existing one which is now 15 years old and in poor condition.
Pauline Hykin, project support officer for the town council, said: “The new design will give greater accessibility to some areas of the nature reserve.
“Work will start next year and will require all the efforts of the volunteers.”
Anyone interested in helping with the project or becoming a volunteer on the Nature Reserve should visit the website cuttlebrook.org.uk.
