THE jury is due to go out today in the trial of three people accused of murdering Denis Witney.
At Oxford Crown Court, Judge Patrick Eccles is expected to finish summing up the evidence after a five-week trial. Homeless Mr Witney was beaten to death at a house in St Clement’s, Oxford, last November.
Wayne Cattell, 37, and Joanne Moriarty, 29, both of Mortimer Road, Rose Hill, and Daniel McCollin, 30, of Blay Close, Blackbird Leys, all deny murder.
