Members of Prime Minister David Cameron's local hunt have today been convicted of illegal fox hunting.

The Heythrop Hunt, based in Chipping Norton, along with members Julian Barnfield and Richard Sumner, admitted four charges of illegally hunting foxes with dogs.

This is the first case where a hunt has faced corporate charges and is also the first taken by the RSPCA involving the prosecution of a hunt itself.

Footage of a bloodied fox carcass sandwiched in a hound's jaws shown to District Judge at Oxford Magistrates' Court earlier today.

Retired huntsman Barnfield, 49 of Worcester Road, Chipping Norton, retired huntmaster Sumner, 68 of Penhill Farm, Salperton, and The Heythrop Hunt Limited are due to be sentenced this afternoon.
