OXFORD
- Janet Jordon, 45, of Wensum Drive, Didcot, admitted shoplifting two packets of nose studs worth £14 from Claire’s Accessories in Orchard Street, Didcot, on October 3. She also stole towels, decorations, candles and charity cards worth £32 from Cargo Home Store and gift cards worth £20.25 from Heart to Heart in Orchard Street, Didcot, on October 3. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
- Bernard Muiruri, 22, of Oxford Road, Cowley, admitted shoplifting alcohol and batteries worth £27.85 from Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on October 13. He was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
- Ian Porteous, 27, of Langley Close, Headington, admitted drink-driving in St Martin’s Road, Oxford, on October 12. Had 86 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned for 20 months.
