THIS Christmas, head off to the Middle East on a magical carpet ride.

But thanks to Creation Theatre you’ll only have to go as far as Summertown.

The innovative theatre company’s Christmas production is Aladdin and the Magical Lamp which begins today at the North Wall Arts Centre in South Parade. It tells the story of peasant boy Aladdin, who comes across an enchanted lamp containing a magical genie while encountering characters like the Sorceror – played by Tim Allsop, – along the way.
