Phil Wilkins reeled off a double six in his first two throws as Cricketers opened the Gladiator Beer Seller Friday League season by whitewashing Garsington Sports 6-0.
However, Wilkins missed out on a maximum as he could post only three dolls in the last leg for a tally of 15.
He was well supported by Phil Adams with 14 dolls.
Reigning champions Cowley Workers got off to a flying start in the Gladiator Beer Seller Wednesday League with a 6-0 win over Sports Club B.
Schoolboy Chris Webb (5, 4, 5) led the way with a 14-doll haul.
Sports Club A's Trevor Greenaway also hit 14 dolls to help clinch a 4-2 victory over Plough.
Jim Kent's 14 dolls - including a six - proved in vain for Veterans in the John Smith's Winter League at the New Club, Wheatley as they went down 4-2 to New Club D.
Alan Goodgame notched a six in his 13 dolls as Gin'll Fix It beat Kidlington SC 4-2 in the Kidlington Indoor League.
