THE ways in which vision can affect learning for children and young people with reading difficulties will be explored at an event at Oxford and Cherwell Valley College.
The event will be hosted by specialist teachers including an expert in behavioural optometry.
College social enterprise employment support officer Christine King said: “Studies have shown that 80 per cent of children who have reading difficulties, including dyslexics, have vision problems that can be solved. The evening will explore the signs to look out for, and what can be done to help.”
The event is at the Banbury campus on November 29, from 6pm to 8pm. Call 01865 550550.
