HOWELL Margaret Elizabeth On Sunday 19 February 2023, peacefully at Green Gates Care Home, Oxford, aged 98. Formerly of Oxford and Stow-on-the-Wold. Long-standing friend of Doris James (died March 2018). Alumna of St Hilda's College, Oxford. Retired teacher and college lecturer. Author of "Eleanor of Provence".
