Oxford Shakespeare Festival is set to return this year with three classic plays performed by three different theatre companies.
Returning for its 12th year, the Oxford Shakespeare Festival will be hosted on the castle yard of Oxford Castle and Prison.
Hamlet will be performed by BMH Productions from Monday, 20 June, to Saturday, July 2.
Wild Goose Theatre will then be performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream Monday, July 4 to Saturday, July 30.
And then finally, Siege Theatre will be presenting King Lear from Monday, August 1, to Saturday, August 13.
A spokesperson for Oxford Castle and Prison said: "We are extremely proud to be hosting the Oxford Shakespeare Festival in our castleyard."
Tickets for each show are £17 and can be bought on the Oxford Castle and Prison website.
