  • Kids wise there are two beautiful plays on offer at BTT this month starting with Monster in My Piano on Saturday. An offbeat jazzy tale, it features puppets, clowning, animation and a very highly strung monster. It is suitable for ages four and over. It is followed next Saturday by Arthur’s Dream Boat – a magical show with breath-taking puppets for ages three and over. Call the box office on 01865 305305.

  • Me, Myself and Mrs Gibbs is a fascinating one woman show hitting the BTT on Monday and Tuesday. It stems from Francesca Millican-Slater’s personal investigation of the message on a postcard sent 100 years ago, and the story of how she becomes obsessed by the life of the woman who received it. Part detective noir, part personal biography. The box office is on 01865 305305.

  • You can still catch the Pegasus double bill of The Heap and A Forgotten Instant until Saturday, brand new productions from Pegasus Youth Theatre Companies which focus on food, poverty and justice, presented in association with OXFAM’s GROW campaign.

The play features a group of children who set up a community in The Heap where they live happily and grow their own food. They don’t want to leave their safe haven until a group of students and their teacher visit, meaning the children’s previous harsh and dangerous lives are revealed, and their continued safety put at risk.

A Forgotten Instant offers a programme of new dance.
