*  THE Vagina Monologues are back. Narrated this time by Hayley Tamaddon of Emmerdale, Clare Buckfield of 2point4 Children, and Vicky Entwistle of Coronation Street, one of the funniest, least militant narratives of women’s sexuality is on from 8pm tomorrow. *  Today you can catch David O’Doherty, ‘a national treasure’, at The Glee Club in Oxford. His appearance from 7.30pm is the third stop of his 2012 tour, Seize the David O’Doherty. This show is about cheering yourself up, making yourself feel better on bleak winter days when you remember that after all your struggles in life it always ends the same inevitable way. * Pegasus theatre’s own patron Francesca Martinez performs in her revolutionary show What The **** Is Normal?! at the theatre on Saturday. She is an award-winning comedian, she is sought-after the world over, she is a face you also know from TV, and she particularly likes to take on serious questions. * Half term is a tricky time for parents whose children suddenly have a lot more energy, but here’s Annie’s Tea Room in Thrupp to the rescue. Until Sunday it is hosting Halloween celebrations and half-term fun that includes apple and biscuit decorating, pumpkin carving, apple bobbing and craft making, to mention only a few things. Bring in your great grandfather’s diaries, letters kept and cherished by your great grandmother, or a box of photos stored in the spare room, and contribute to the first online European archive of private WWI memorabilia.
