It’s Jeremy Clarkson and Chris Evans. Kinda. Mini-mes of the two motoring show presenters went head to head at Goodwood – and they took their rivalry to fifth gear.
Chris Evans and former Friends star Matt LeBlanc are the new faces of BBC Two’s Top Gear while Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be back in the autumn with a new Amazon Prime motoring show called The Grand Tour.
Little wonder the mini versions took inspiration from the famous grown-ups to battle it out and have some fun on Honda UK’s life-size version of the iconic Fisher Price style garage.
And where better for the battle to commence than at Goodwood Festival of Speed? It was the perfect venue for Honda UK to host one of the more memorable motoring showdowns.
Mini-Chris and mini-Jeremy’s face-off reached new levels of silliness as the young lookalikes raced each other on the Fisher Price inspired garage.
They brawled and wrestled for control of Honda’s BTCC rally car. They also sabotaged each other’s vehicles and even caused carnage as unsuspecting members of the public watched on.
The rivalry reached a climax with the little duo smirking at the level of destruction each had handed to the other. All in a day’s work.
