David Beckham got another award for his trophy cabinet as he picked up the Legend Of Football Award at the 20th Anniversary HMV Football Extravaganza.
Former Manchester United teammate Ryan Giggs handed David the coveted prize at an event at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The evening was to raise money for music charity Nordoff Robbins, which enables music therapy sessions for vulnerable and isolated people around the UK. A massive £7 million was raised at this year’s event and David spoke about the “incredible” work the charity do.
The 40-year-old was looking extra suave in his dark grey suit as he joined a very impressive list of preview winners such as Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Alex Ferguson and Pele.
Earlier in the day he posted a photo on Instagram with his son Romeo, wishing him happy birthday.
He captioned it: “My little man turns 13 today… Into his teens and still an Arsenal fan lol… Happy birthday beautiful boy”.
As did his mum.
