The cast of the Hunger Games have practically lived out of each other’s pockets throughout the months spent shooting the film franchise – so you’d assume they’d pretty much know everything there is to know about each other.
But you’d be wrong because Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy in the films) was completely oblivious to the fact that his co-star Liam Hemsworth was Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth’s younger brother.
The pair were busy promoting the latest instalment to their Hunger Games film last year (it’s recently resurfaced due to the release of Mockingjay Part 1) when Liam casually mentioned his brother was starring in Thor: God of Thunder and the Dark World.
As the Australian actor discusses the upcoming Marvel superhero instalment, Woody’s ears begin prick up until he finally reaches that explosive realisation.
“Jesus, I never got that he was your brother!” Woody exclaims, as Liam laughs in disbelief.
“Until just now. And you do have the same last name, now that I think about it.
“I honestly never put that together.”
And Woody, take note – there’s not just the one or two Hemsworth brothers, there are three of them.
