HEADS up! One of the band's most-tipped to hit the big time this year are heading our way, with a gig at The Cellar, Oxford, on Tuesday.

Their name may conjure up images of san Francisco hippies, but Haight ashbury are pure Scot!

The show at our favourite underground venue comes as the north-of-the-border three-piece prepare to play at more than 20 festivals across Europe, and head off on a 20-date European tour in May.

Fans of the band already include Lauren Laverne, The Vaselines and a certain Scarlett Johansson, who was spotted at one gig.
