FOUR musicians, who raised the roof at a Warwick music festival, are planning to do the same at Banbury's Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club's Christmas party.
The event will also mark the end of the club's autumn season.
The group, the Quarter Pounders, are four young musicians with a great folk-rock style.
Club organiser Derek Droscher said: "They are a must for some good old shindig partying to get us in festive mood before the Christmas break."
Co-organiser Mary Droscher said: "This is our eighth annual Christmas party at the club.
"Each year lots of regular members and new visitors come and have a great time.
"The Quarter Pounders are absolutely sure to provide us with good up-tempo music to make it another party to remember."
She added: "There is still an opportunity for local musicians to do a floor spot during the interval and there is likely to be some festive frolics as well.
"To avoid disappointment, it is best for artists to book a spot by telephoning 01295 709881 in advance."
The party will be in The Millers Bar at The Mill, Banbury, at 8.30pm, on Wednesday December 20, with admission priced at just £5 (cons £3). Food is included in the admission price.
