Where to start...

This weekend sees the return of the UK’s most eclectic festival - Latitude.

The Oxford Mail's Sunny Chahal is on his way to join the masses gathering in Suffolk for this feast of music, arts and culture. Today he shares his pick of the best of Latitude:

With so much going on it's hard to know where to start, but top of my list has to be the set by Oxford math-rock legends Foals, who will be looking to repeat their amazing show at this years Glastobury festival and their sold-out gigs at the Royal Albert Hall. Then there is Deutch-rock heroes Kraftwerk. As a big fan of Trans Europe Express, I can't wait to see what they pull out of their hats on Saturday - especially with their £D show.

Being a cultural kind of guy, and having heard great things about his speech at the oxford Literary Festival, I will certainly be taking in the talk by philosopher AC Grayling... though it might be quite a head-spin. Let’s hope he’s also on the cider.

Bloc Party are always good for a party, and will get things going on Friday, while Bobby Womack will chill things back downon Sunday. I am also expecting Hot Chip to calm us all down in this heat, by pulling a few tunes from their first album.

Orbital legend Phil Hartnoll’s DJ set should be good, but my red hot tip for the weekend are the sets by Charlatans star Tim Burgess (who was amazing in his acoustic set on Glastonbury’s Park stage, last month), and the mighty Verve legend Richard Ashcroft. Latitude better be ready to sing - and dance, because it is all, quite literally, going to go off!
