Oxfordshire's grandest palace is hosting a series of Bank Holiday weekend events fit for a royal.

Now in its eighth year, the Blenheim Palace Food Festival is returning to the UNESCO Word Heritage site with a special jubilee theme.

Running from June 2 to June 5, the festival is for food lovers, family and friends.

This year the event features chef royalty in the form of Raymond Blanc OBE, alongside Italian veteran Gennaro Contaldo and Great British Bake Off’s karen Wright.

Guests can enjoy the Jubilee Garden whilst listening to vintage vocal trio, The Lollipops, and the tunes of brass quartet Acoustic Jass.

The matinee will be awash with food produce from a wide range of local and national stallholders.

Alongside artisan treats and homemade delights, there will be craft beers, cocktails and mocktails.

In addition to the culinary delights, the event offers activities for all the family, including Twistina, the balloon modelling lady, gastronaut Stefan Gates’s ‘Mindblowing Food & Science Show’ and a picnic area.

On Thursday, June 2, Blenheim will be joining communities across the country to light a beacon to mark the Queen’s Jubilee.

As part of the celebrations an avenue of 70 trees is also being planted in the grounds.

Entry to the food festival is included with the Palace, Park and Gardens tickets.
