Oxford and Cherwell Valley College is inviting employers to a special seminar designed to link the world of work more closely with further education.
Making our Students More Employable is a free event by the college’s Community Interest Company, SweetFE, which has been set up to encourage students to turn business ideas into commercial ventures.
Ian Francis, director of SweetFE, said: “We recognise local employers are looking for us to do more than support students to achieve qualifications.
“We hope employers will take time to give us their views, find out how the workforce of the future is being made ready for employment and perhaps get more involved through an ambassador scheme.”
The seminar takes place on October 11 at the college campus on Oxpens Road, Oxford at 6pm.
