Drug company Oxford Nutrascience has signed an exclusive licensing and distribution agreement with one of Brazil's largest pharmaceutical firms.
Under the terms of the seven-year agreement, the business based at the Begbroke Science Park will supply Aché Laboratórios Farmacêuticos with healthcare products which will be sold under the women's health brand, Inellare.
Chief executive Nigel Theobald said: “Working with Aché demonstrates our capability to partner with major pharmaceutical companies who are seeking product innovation.
“Ache has significant commercial infrastructure in Brazil and the growth of Brazilian pharmaceutical products is making the country one of the most important global markets for pharmaceutical companies. Our objective is to target this sector.”
