HARWELL-BASED ByBox, which specialises in smart lockers, has been selected as one of 15 British businesses to be featured in the Parliamentary Review's Technology Edition 2016/2017.

The Review, which opens with a foreword by the Prime Minister, provides a review of the parliamentary year, with emphasis on technology and the UK’s digital economy.

In the foreword, Mrs May discusses the country’s need to innovate, citing the importance of 'building a modern economy which creates the high-skill jobs of the future'.

The Review explores issues such as cyber security, Facebook and fake news, the introduction of voice–activated technologies, and artificial intelligence.

It also features articles from a range of leading technology businesses around the UK, with ByBox’s contribution from its CEO and founder Stuart Miller, focusing on his experiences in starting up an innovative company from his kitchen table in 2000.

Mr Miller said: "It’s a great honour to be singled out as a leading business in the technology Review. ByBox works hard day in and day out to think differently about its services, and we see numerous opportunities and ways that our business can play a vital role in supporting the technologies of the future. "It has become very clear to me that successful supply chain companies will owe that success to technology, not to logistics."
