Wynyard Hall will be reopening on Wednesday, July 15, for overnight stays, afternoon tea and al fresco dining.

General manager Brian Van Oosten said: “We’re excited to get back to what we do best. At this time, the health and wellbeing of our guests and our staff are of top priority and we are working hard to implement new protocols across our hotel ready for our reopening.”

New safety measures include, enforcing social distancing measures across the property, additional cleaning in public areas and key touch-points and staff training on the health and safety protocols.

To confirm their efforts, Wynyard Hall has also been awarded the “Good to Go” mark from Visit England.

Mr Van Oosten said: “By acquiring the industry standard ‘We’re Good to Go’, we can assure guests we are following all Government, Public Health England and Visit England Covid-19 guidelines to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.”

The reopening of the hall follows a successful opening of the gardens on Wednesday, June 3.

Mr Van Oosten said: “Here at Wynyard Hall, our staff are excited to get back to delivering a little luxury during these difficult times.”
