Cowley, Percy Street and Charles Street area Temporary Prohibition of Waiting and Road Closures Date of Order: 30 April 2018 Coming into force: 4 May 2018 The traffic order was introduced because of construction works to be carried out adjacent to Iffley Road which are anticipated to take 13 months to complete. The effect of the amendment order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle waiting (1) at any time in the following lengths of road:
a) Charles Street, both sides from its junction with Iffley Road for 21.5 metres;
b) Harold Hicks Place, southwest side from Percy Street for 20 metres.
c) Percy Street, east side from its junction with Iffley Road for 38 metres; And (2) to prohibit waiting between 9am and 6.30pm
d) Percy Street, west side from a point 11 metres north of Iffley Road, northwards for 27 metres.

Also, there will be road junction closures at the Iffley Road end of Percy Street and Charles Street to enable large deliveries to take place predominantly during Mondays from 19 March to 17 December.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the prohibition is in force. Local diversions will be signed. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref JaC/T5410)

(VARIOUS ROADS - WEST OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO. XX) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order will further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads -West Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2012. The effect of the order, for road safety and traffic management reasons is as follows:
(1) to introduce areas of No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) in:
   (a) Old Witney Road from its junction with Witney Road, westwards for a distance of 55 metres on both sides;
   (b) Thornbury Road, on both sides for 137 metres from Witney Road;
   (c) Witney Road, from Acre End Street northwards on both sides to beyond Clover Place; and a 30 metre area opposite the junction with Thornbury Road;

(2) to prohibit waiting Monday to Friday between 8 & 9am and 2.30 & 3.30pm in
   (d) Witney Road, on both sides from the southernmost junctions with the service roads southwardsto Willows Edge;
   (e) into Willows Edge for 24 metres; and
   (f) into Bartholomew Close on the north side for 62.5 metres, and the south side for 12 metres.

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 01 June 2018. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.**) ORDER 20** 2. (VARIOUS STREETS, OXFORD)
(WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) CONSOLIDATION (VARIATION NO.**) ORDER 2009 3. (HORSPATH PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the orders is as follows:
1)& 2) to extend the Clearway and prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) in Horspath Road eastwards from the Eastern A4142 bypass to Horspath Village (a point 310 metres southwest of its junction with Manor Farm Road). Clearway timings for no stopping, waiting or loading are between 6.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. and between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. and between 3.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Monday to Saturday inclusive;
3). to extend the existing 40mph speed limit on Horspath Road to Horspath village (replacing the unrestricted 60 mph). The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2008 (as amended), and the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Streets, Oxford) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2009 (as amended) will be further amended; and the Oxfordshire County Council (Horspath Parish) (Restricted Roads) Order 1999 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Horspath) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2008 will be revoked/replaced.
